Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast - Tullamore

Welcome to Annaharvey Bed & Breakfast Tullamore , home to the Deverell family for the past four generations. Situated at the centre of the working farm and Equestrian Centre, it is the hub from which the whole farm operates. The farmhouse is open to guests for Bed and Breakfast or Full Board accommodation near Tullamore. It has been designed for the comfort and well being of all our guests, including a relaxing lounge area where guests mingle and chat before and after meals where the warm stove is a welcome site on winter evenings.

The dining room, a cosy centre of activity for all meals, where guests enjoy each other’s company over a lovely home cooked meal, complemented with a bottle of house wine.

The Sun room, a recent addition to the house, is a haven of peace and quiet, where you can relax and unwind, reading, making one of the numerous jigsaws, or simply sit back and reflect on the days activities.

2013 Georgina Campbell Winner

Georgina Campbell Farmhouse of the Year 2013 WinnerFor many people – especially families who live in cities – an Irish farm stay is just about the most idyllic holiday imaginable. And you won’t do better than this one. There is a lovely homely feeling about Henry and Lynda Deverell’s restored grain barn near Tullamore and, with its pitch pine floors and beams, log fires and very comfortable accommodation, it makes a great base for a relaxing holiday offering all the pleasures of the outdoor life. The setting is very rural with plenty of horses in the fields and the welcoming smell of an open fire in the car park as you arrive.

Good home cooking has always been a central feature here, and Annaharvey was a founding member of the ‘Offaly Delicious’ local food producers network. A daughter, Rachael Deverell, operates a highly-regarded artisan food company (Annaharvey Farm Foods) and she makes delicious home-baking and preserves for the retail and catering trade. Although now produced in Bunclody, Co Wexford, this is where she learned to cook, and guests staying at Annaharvey Farm will not be disappointed by the good home cooking offered at this hospitable and relaxing place.
