House Rules.
Time of arrival: If possible we like guests to arrive for Bed and Breakfast before 7.00 pm, but we are aware that this is not always possible with the vagaries of modern transport. Should guests need to arrive very late in the evening, we usually leave out their room key along with instructions and see them at breakfast next morning!.
Time of departure: We would appreciate guests vacating their rooms by 11.00 am on the morning of departure. However if a group are staying and riding for the day, we try to leave one room still available, when possible, to enable them to take a showers before leaving for home.
Activity arrangements: The main activity is of course horse-riding, but we also have golfers, walkers, cycling and other guests staying with us. First thing each morning Sam or one of the girls from the yard will come in at breakfast time and discuss with the riders what kind of horse riding they would like to do for the day - what horses they would like to ride and what type of riding they want to work on.
Golfers need to discuss arrangements for playing the afternoon prior to going out, as courses need to be booked in advance.
(See local golf courses in the area). Walkers or cyclists can make arrangements and plan routes the evening before. We offer advice on suitable routes and places of interest to visit.
Similarly, there are lots of day trips within an easy drive from Annaharvey and again we can offer advise when planning your journey.

Meals: Not all guests choose to have every meal at Annaharvey, and there are many good restaurants in Tullamore town, 6-8 mins away by car. We would appreciate however, if guests would let us know by lunch-time each day whether they are going to be in or not for the evening meal.
Throughout the off-season, evening meals are not generally available unless by prior arrangement and only for a group of six or more.
For guests that do not have their own transport, we will bring them into Tullamore town at no extra charge, and they can get a taxi back when it suits - taxis cost approx €10.
Special diets are catered for but we do appreciate being given some prior warning.
General Rules:
Smoking in the house is not permitted.
Boots and yard jackets should be left downstairs in the outside porch and nor brought upstairs to bedrooms.
Wet gear can be dried in the drying room.
Golf bags can be left downstairs in the function room.
Pets are welcome, but cannot be accommodated in the house.
