Qualification:

Entrants to classes 2, 4, 6 & 9 must have qualified at one of the designated qualifiers held throughout the year.  Please note that only horse rider combinations have qualified.

Entrants to classes 1, 3, 5, 7, 8 & 10 must have completed a minimum of one cross–country type event (i.e. one–day event, hunter trials or cross jump) between the 1st May and the close of entries.  Entrants to class 1 is by invitation only.



Entries:

Postal entries must be pre–entered and pre–paid by Monday 30th August.
Postal entries will only be accepted on the official entry form (individual or team) and must be accompanied by the appropriate fees on a club issued cheque.
Online entries for teams and individuals will open on Monday 30th August and will close on Sunday 5th September.  To enter online you must access your membership online account and click on enter a competition.  Please ensure your horse has been registered in advance if entering online.
No hor concour or novice horse entries accepted nor will entries received for unregistered horses .
No late entries will be accepted.

Refunds:
Full refunds will be issued if entry withdrawn, in writing, by Friday 3rd September 2010.



Volunteering:
Each region will be allocated tasks to fulfil on the day of the event.  Each participating member and club must submit volunteers to their regional secretary.

All competitors must have in their equine passport in their possession at this event.
Competitors will jump in strict numerical order
Competitors must abide by A.I.R.C. rules, including dress code, at all times and it is their responsibility to be fully conversant with them for this competition.  Click here to download a copy of the current A.I.R.C. rule book.
For cross–country, level three back protectors, skull caps, medical armbands with photo ID, long sleeves and stocks are mandatory.
It is the riders cross–country grade which indicates which class they are eligible to enter.
The young horse competition is open to advanced intermediate, open and advanced open riders.  Only 4 and 5 year old horses are eligible for this competition.
The team championship is restricted to teams of 3 or 4 riders from a registered club.  No more than two grades can be represented in this championship.  Only riders competing in classes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10 are eligible to represent a club in this championship.  No mixed club teams are permitted.
Horses many only start once on the day.
Competitors will have to provide their own number bib.  A limited supply will be available for sale, priced €15, on the day but to guarentee supply, it is best to purchase a bib in advance of the event.  To order a bib, click here.
